May 17, 2026
Alloa First Business Improvement District (BID) has launched recruitment for a new Town Centre BID Manager as long-serving manager Diane Brown prepares to step away from the role.
The organisation is now seeking a new leader to help drive forward projects, events, business engagement and town centre initiatives across Alloa.
The role will see the successful candidate work closely with local businesses, stakeholders and partner organisations while helping shape the future direction of the town centre and supporting preparations for the BID’s next renewal ballot.
Alloa First said the position offers a unique opportunity for someone passionate about town centres, regeneration and community development to make a meaningful impact within the local area.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, experience managing projects and partnerships, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in BID management, economic development, marketing, destination management or regeneration would be advantageous.
The organisation highlighted flexible working arrangements, pension contributions and professional development opportunities as part of the role.
Applications are open until 5 June, with interviews expected to take place later in the month.
Diane Brown, who has played a key role in supporting businesses and delivering projects across Alloa town centre, will remain available for informal discussions with prospective applicants during the recruitment process.
Alloa First said it remains committed to supporting businesses, strengthening partnerships and helping ensure the continued growth and success of the town centre in the years ahead.
