All About Barrhead BID Achieves National Accreditation

All About Barrhead BID has been awarded national accreditation in recognition of its leadership, governance and contribution to the local business community.
The business improvement district, which represents and supports businesses across Barrhead, has achieved Accredited BID Status from British BIDs following an independent assessment.
The accreditation recognises strong performance in governance, financial management and operational delivery, highlighting the organisation's commitment to meeting industry standards.
The achievement comes at a key moment for the organisation, with local businesses currently voting on whether the BID should continue for a third five-year term.
Jenny Dunlop, BID Manager at All About Barrhead, said: "Achieving Accredited BID Status is a significant milestone for All About Barrhead and provides independent recognition of the standards we work to every day.
"To receive this accreditation whilst in the middle of our third-term ballot is particularly meaningful.
"It demonstrates that the BID is well managed, accountable and operating in line with recognised industry standards, giving confidence to the businesses and stakeholders we represent."
The accreditation reflects the work delivered by the BID over the past five years, including a range of town centre events, business support initiatives and environmental improvement projects.
Among the initiatives highlighted were the Christmas lights programme, Halloween Parade, Big Bounce, Easter activities and the All About Barrhead Awards. The BID has also delivered training opportunities for businesses and supported improvements to the town's public realm.
Following the announcement, the BID team thanked its board directors, levy payers and partners for their continued support and contribution to the organisation's success.
